I graduated from college last Friday. It was the best feeling in the whole world. You’ve put so much time and effort into something for four, I mean, four and a half years, and then you get to have a sheet of paper that says you have made something of yourself. I love it. Now, just to find a job…
This is my Christmas Treat to you. Merry Christmas in 6 days!
Babies to grads
I have a few friends in my life that I’ve known since birth. Bryson is one of them, but we weren’t super close all of our lives, but I have one friend in particular who has always been there. We have this one picture that is vivid in my mind; it was in my backyard in the winter, and we were in elementary school. I have so many memories from childhood where she was in them. We are graduating tomorrow together, and I am so thankful we were slow in college. Since we both took our precious time, we will be graduating together. It will be bittersweet, but thankfully, we will be in the same area for a while which makes things easier. I’m so glad she’ll be there during my wedding as well.
I’m an Adult
Tomorrow marks the end of my student teaching journey. I cannot believe it is over already. It seems like it was just yesterday when I was blubbering about being in Jackson all by myself and having a job I wasn’t getting paid for. Now, I am probably going to be blubbering again but not because of being alone, but I’ll be leaving those amazing kids who I love so much. So, I’m making them cookies, and we’re going to have a jolly time celebrating my time in their class. I can’t wait to spend one last day with all of those sweet kiddos.
